Sequel to “A Sticky Mess” coming

A sticky mess

Lao American author Nor Sanavongsay announced his follow-up book to A Sticky Mess was making progress with hopes for a release in late 2015, early 2016. In the sequel, readers will learn how a young novice got his name Xieng Mieng and went on to become the most clever man in all of the land.

A Sticky Mess was inspired by the childrens stories from Laos that Nor Sanavongsay’s father told him growing up, including the tale of a young monk being bullied at the temple. The book is now very difficult to find with most of the initial print run almost completely sold out.
